“Electrical Storm” is the only single from U2’s second compilation album, The Best of 1990–2000.  The music video  features drummer Larry Mullen, Jr., as well as actress Samantha Morton. The song is about two lovers who are fighting and the tension between them; it relates this to a looming electrical storm. Although the song did not make a big impression in the U.S.(#77), the song did well elsewhere, peaking at #1 in Canada and many European countries.

Scenes on the railway were filmed behind Bono’s private residence which is located on the eastern end of the beach at Eze Bord de Mer. The rear of the villa is visible from the Nice-Monaco SNCF  train , as you head between Beaulieu and Cap d’Ail before it disapears into a tunnel .

The pink Venetian sandstone colouring is very distinctive, as is the 100 metre private island linked to it.

Other scenes were filmed in the Rue Obscure in Villefranche, a dark tunnelled walkway that runs through the centre of the village which is thought to be the oldest street in the locale, dating back to 1260.
