A large part of the film takes place in the South of France, in particular Menton and Villefranche. The Porte Darse in Villefranche features as the climatic end to a thrilling motorbike chase between Bond and Fatima Blush. The pictures to the left show the warehouse where the scene was filmed on location, both inside and out.
